Temporary (sacrificial) coating

Once a surface treated with a temporary coating has been vandalized, the graffiti and the underlying sacrificial layer can simply be removed with a hot water high pressure washer.

This method is very environmentally friendly. The graffiti paint breaks into flakes that get trapped in the cooled down wax and turn into a special plastic membrane that can easily be removed with plain water. The dirty cleaning water can without any concern be allowed in the sewer system or into the soil.

A new coat is applied on the affected areas to achieve again full protection.

Technical process

1. temporary (sacrificial) coating is applied on the surface.

2. normal moisture evaporation through sacrificial coating.

3. paint is sprayed on the sacrificial coating and is blocked at the surface by the coating.

4. graffiti and underlying coating are cleaned off with hot water high pressure.

5. the sacrificial coating is re-applied on the affected areas.

Selection of the appropriate coating system

The choice of the appropriate surface protection depends on the physical properties of the construction, the risk situation (e.g. busy street, bus stop in front of the door) and your individual requirements.
